"I'm glad it's right now" {No. 2}

-When I was a little girl, I would do this thing when I was in the middle of something I really wanted to remember...I would close my eyes, take it all in and say to myself "I'm glad it's right now, I'm glad it's right now, I'm glad it's right now".
----"I'm glad it's right now {No. 1}"

This is inspired by moments in my life that I don't want to forget...moments I'm purposely intentional in...to remember every detail, to be present, to be thankful...to always remember.

Like this one...

My sweet baby boy. My snuggle bug...

My first born. My mama's boy...

My lovey, compassionate, happy boy...

Has his first loose tooth...

{Actually his 2 bottom front ones}

Lord have mercy on his mama...Pretty soon he's going to be talking to me about girls and I'll have to take him to HEB to pick out deodorant...

{He is SO proud}

And then one day he'll ask a girl to marry him. Oh sweet Jesus.

...I'm so glad it's right now!

I love you my sweet Asher. You are growing up so fast, but you will always be my little boy. My sweet, happy, snuggle bug. I love you and I will never stop reminding you how much. No matter how big {or stinky} you get.

  1. I feel like those baby pictures we just the other day! Time flies! You never think it when your in the moment though. It's always good to remind yourself to slow down and enjoy right now because before you know it... It flies by! I had to do that to myself today! I told myself to enjoy right now because tomorrow will come soon enough! Good blog! Love seeing the pictures of Asher grow!

  3. I am so glad it is right now too! I am trying to soak up every moment of this pregnancy because before I know it she will be here and I am sure I will want to stop time then too. Asher is getting so big and is so handsome!

  4. This made me cry the whole time. Ok, well, not CRY but teary eyed. I was like, what is wrong with me?! Tell him to STOP growing up. I can't handle it! I remember I cried when Jacquelin started going to school... I just don't like when kids have to grow up I guess. And all I gotta say is, NO girl is gonna mess with my Asher - she will have ME to answer to. ;)

  6. So sweet...and it made me laugh, too. We have just entered the "go to HEB for deoderant" phase with my baby brother and it is KILLING ME! This is a good reminder to stop and enjoy the moment!
