My little sister is having a baby.
And I get to help her decorate and plan for sweet little Olivia's room.
I wanted to make her some letters for her room and remembered seeing some really cute wood block letters decorated with doilies. I couldn't remember where I saw them so I had to do a little pinterest searching and found them here. Click over to check out that sweet nursery. Adorable.
Here's how I made them:
- a package of small doilies
-wood block letters {we got ours at Hobby Lobby}
-modge podge
-sponge brush
-scissors
{I used a regular wooden B I already had for the pictures cause I loved the way Olivia's turned out so much I wanted one for Bella. But I like the chunkier block letters better}
First take out the center of the doily.
Cover the doily in another layer of modge podge to seal it.
Just eyeball it and decide for yourself where you think you need to place the doily.
We have a few more projects to do so it's my plan to post one here each week. That's my plan. We all know how good I am at sticking to plans for posting, though. But hopefully I'll have a few projects/how to's posted leading up to a whole room reveal.
Decorating and creating is a big part of me. I love it. And getting to do it for my sweet baby sister who is having a baby herself? Even better.

lovely!
