Operation Christmas Child.

Are you looking for ways to give a little extra this year?  Show your kids to reach beyond themselves? Samaritans Purse is an excellent ministry to partner with and do just that.  Talk with your kids about the shoe boxes and why you are doing them, get them involved, let them pick out the items, then wrap it and pray over the box together.  I can't think of a better way to give, love, and teach all at the same time.

There are more than 3200 drop off locations. Click Here to find one closest to you. Deadline is Nov 21st  {next MONDAY!} so they can have enough time to get these to kids across the world for Christmas!

Watch the video. There is really no other explanation needed!

  2. Aw, love Operation Christmas Child. I introduced it to my students last year and it was awesome to see them pray over each box and give sacrificially for someone they'd never even met.

Filling this year's box is going to be date night tomorrow!

  4. Me and my mom shop for shoeboxes together every year! In fact, we're heading out to finish up our shopping tomorrow. :) I love how you can track your box to see what country it ends up in, too!

I believe God is all over these boxes! A guy from Samaritan's Purse was at my church this past year and told some miraculous stories. One time there was only ONE box left at a particular location with TWO (twin) girls and no way to bring another box in. When they opened it up, there was TWO of every item inside! I think God takes each box to just the right person.
