Mothers Day Giveaway from the Splendor Shop!

With Mothers Day just about a week away, I wanted to do a little something to recognize the special women in our lives.

I'm giving away this little bundle of Splendor goodies to one person from the Splendor Shop

Nominate a special woman in your life who you think would be blessed by this gift!

She will receive:
 a Large soft yellow Peony Necklace, on a 24inch silver chain {so perfect for summer}
A vintage Teal Tose on Antiqued silver filigree band {fits sizes 6-10}
And a set of petite cream roses.

Leave her name and a brief reason why you are nominating her.

You can nominate more than one person if you'd like and heck you can nominate yourself too!  Every woman deserves a little special gift. Just leave a separate comment for each person you nominate.

This will be open until Sunday evening, I will choose someone at random, and then I will send the package first thing Monday morning, gift wrapped with a tag from you {the person nominating} to her.

I wish I could do more and give everyone of you something, but I hope this blesses one special woman in an unexpected way.

Much Love to each of you!

  1. Well :) I'll get it started.
    I would love to nominate my own Mom. She has been a stay-at-home mom for 29 years... she is still homeschooling my younger brother and sister...she never asks for anything... she's the best real life example of a Proverbs 31 woman in my life. I love her to pieces and know she would be blessed by this gift:)

  2. I would also like to nominate my sister-in-law Kimmie (my husband's sister). This past year has been hard for their family...her husband lost his job and they have had to move multiple times because of the loss. She has remained cheerful and positive throughout this past year and I know this little package would be a blessing to her :)
    Thanks friend for such a fun giveaway!

  3. I would like to nominate my momma. Out of all of the women I know, I look up to her the most, learn from her the most, and pray and dream of being like her the most. She is an unbelievable woman of God, a prayer warrior, a fighter, and a lover. She is passionate about the lost and reaching out to those the Spirit speaks to her to reach out to. She has dealt with a lot of hardship, watching her son and daughter in law and their new baby girl move away, as not to be a close-distant grandma, but rather a long distant one. Then I moved away after getting married as well. She is going to be a missionary to China next July with my daddy and I just would be honored to be able to bless her with a small special gift like this.

    Love, Cara

  6. I would love to nominate my grandmother. This woman has always been my everything. She is more selfless than anyone else I have ever know. I thank God for her every day, she raised me when my own mother wasn't able to. And took in anyone who needed love and support. There are so many reasons for me to nominate her, but I will leave it at that <3

  7. I would like to nominate my mom, these last few months have been really hard for her after the loss of my daughter at just a day old. Through it all she has been there for me in every way, in my pain and suffering I was so focused on me at the time that when I sit back and think how loving and caring and strong she remained to me even though she was suffering so much more having lost a granddaughter and having to watch her daughter go through such a tragedy, I admire her strength so much more than she'll ever know.

  8. I would like to nominate my sister Kristin. She is a fantastic, loving, caring, devoted mother. She just had Baby Girl #3 on 04/26/12. She recently opened up her own daycare out of her home so she could be a stay at home mom with her girls. Although her days are chaotic she is always there to lend a hand when she can or lend an ear! She deserves some pretties! :)
    Thanks for hosting!

She does so much for her family, friends, and students (first grade teacher) and I would love to surprise her with this amazing gift. I am lucky to call her not only my sister-in-law, but also my best friend.

  19. I would like to nominate my sister in law. she's an incredible mom to three precious girls. her and her family live in Africa and she opens her home to any child in need. Right now she's taking care of a two week old little boy who was found in a dump. She takes care of these children as if they're her own whether or not she cares for them for a day or a month. It's hard to imagine how you pour your heart into children that you know you'll be saying good bye to.

  24. Actually, I would give this to a girl who used to be a very close friend of mine.We had our babies at the same time and through that became close friends. But because of something really minor a huge rift separated us from each other and its been an ongoing battle for the past 6 years now. The Lord has been dealing with issues in me through that time and helping me to get past the pain of a lost friendship.
    I have honestly been convicted all weekend to buy her a birthday gift, which is coming up next week. To step outside of my comfort zone and once again try to heal this broken relationship.
    For that reason, I would gift it to her. She shall remain anonymous here but I can divulge that privately to you if you need a name.

  25. what a cute giveaway!
    i nominate my mom, terry. she is a super woman, mom, and nurse. i wasn't always nice to her growing up as a teenager and i feel terrible about it now. i'm not trying to make up for lost time, but i really do try to show her love all the time now. i don't know what i would do without her and i think i take her for granted a lot. she really is such an amazing person. we're really exactly alike and i think that's why we didn't get along when i was younger and i regret being such a snotty brat!
    live and learn...

  27. awe love your necklace and goodies! I want to nominate my sister..she's an amazing mom! She is a great military wife, and like all military wives has run the house and cared for the kids through more than her share of deployments. She has been far from home and family for the last 10 years, but is still upbeat and positive. She is a master crafter and cook but would never brag about it! she'd love this little gift!!!

  32. I would like to nominate my grandmother. She is truly an inspiration to me and has taught me so much about life. She was a stay at home to 3 kids and is "THE" susie homemaker. I have learned from her how to be the best mother and wife that I can be. She survived breast cancer and a train wreck that took my grandfather. Through it all she is still standing strong! She is the spunkiest little 78 year old there is. I always say 78 going on 30 ;) She has become my best friend and I am so blessed my children get to know who she is. I know she will be around for many many more years.

  33. I'd like to nominate my sweet friend Julie Terrell. Her and her husband are missionaries in Chiapas Mexico and are raising their 3 beautiful girls there. Two of those girls were born there (at their home). She is currently in the U.S. on furlough and while here went into preteen labor at 23 weeks with their son Will. So they are self-pay because they have no insurance and she will be there a minimum of 10 weeks and longer because baby Will is going to probably have a stay in the NICU. She is so positive and hopeful though and this gift would definitely put a smile on her face and dress up her hospital gown! As far as a desercing mother goes, she's it and then some!

  37. Hi Laura,
    I would like to nominate my mother in law. She is the most amazing and giving woman and mother. 39. I would like to nominate my sister Codey. She had my niece, Grace and for the beginning part of her life had to raise her without a father figure present. She did the best she could with what she had. She recently started living her life in a more Christ centered way, and I am so proud of her for that and love the impact it is having on my niece with her own mother showing her the right way to live.

  40. I nominate my amazing daughter who is a momma to three... Ages three and under. She blesses me with her patience with them and how she finds creative ways to teach them about Jesus. Her husband is in full time ministry as a student minister so she is also a "momma" to many of the young girls in their church. She is such a blessing.
